A render of Joby’s proposed manufacturing facility in Dayton, Ohio, which will support production of up to 500 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft per year.

Joby selects Dayton for aircraft production base

Construction of the scaled Ohio facility is expected to start in 2024 and it is expected to come online in 2025. Joby plans to use existing nearby buildings to begin near-term operations.
