REVUE THOMMEN AG has announced that the THOMMEN AC32 Digital Air Data Computer has been selected to provide all air data parameters for the avionics suite in the AgustaWestland Grand New helicopter.
THOMMEN'S AC32 Digital Air Data Computer has the capability to provide all the ARINC 429 labels required for today's new generation avionics systems. Its modular design, integrated solid-state pressure sensors and proven accuracy are among the features that put this instrument in a class by itself. The AC32 Air Data Computer is manufactured and tested to extremely high standards and has an MTBF of over 20,000 hours.
Commenting on the selection, Rudolf Iten, Vice Chairman of REVUE THOMMEN, said, "It is an honor to have been selected to be part of the avionics suite architecture for the AgustaWestland Grand New. It is the first light twin helicopter to offer such sophisticated avionics capabilities and will set new standards for the worldwide helicopter market. We are proud to be part of this development."
