On May 29, 2023, Geely Aerofugia and Dassault Systèmes, the global leader in 3DEXPERIENCE solutions, signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Based on the digital capabilities of Dassault Systèmes' 3D EXPERIENCE platform, the two parties will plan to build an end-to-end integrated product for the whole life-cycle of the development platform, the best practice in creating eVTOL (flying vehicle) innovative products.

eVTOL is a safe, reliable, environmentally friendly, cost-effective and innovative aviation transportation tool, and is regarded as a solution to optimize the transportation pain points of future urban areas and integrated urban and rural development. On the other hand, as a civil manned aircraft used for passenger commercial operations in a low-altitude environment, eVTOL also faces challenges such as safety, airworthiness certification, overall design, lightweight composite material structure, integrated clean energy and distributed power. Many challenges, such as propulsion, flight quality and comfort, and adaptability to multi-mission scenarios, need to be solved one by one through technological innovation.
