ecoDemonstrator test program expands its fleet

Boeing's program will soon have tested 250 technologies to decarbonise aviation, improve efficiency and enhance safety. Approximately a third of these have progressed onto Boeing's products and services.

Boeing harnesses 777 for latest ecoDemonstrator testing

Since 2012 Boeing has tested 200 ecoDemonstrator technologies, and a third have it made it into products and services, contributing to improvements in noise, economy, emissions, safety and environmental impact.

Boeing's second 777X completes first flight

The first 777X has already notched up nearly 100 hours of flight time, and is now joined by a second. Flight testing will now encompass handling characteristics and aircraft performance.
