PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Pulizzi Engineering Inc.
Pulizzi Engineering, Inc. announces the release of a complete line of power cables and cable accessories. The power cables are available in a variety of plug types and lengths. There are over 30 stock versions, including NEMA 5-15P to IEC C19, NEMA L6-20P to IEC C19, and European Shucko to IEC C19 cord sets. Standard configurations include 120 volt, 208 volt and 230 volt, available in both 15 amp and 20 amp current ratings. Plug options include both straight blade or twist lock connector types. The standard cable length starts at 8 feet, with cables up to 15 feet available. For international installation, there are a variety of country specific plug types available. The variety of power cables available makes it easy for one power distribution unit to be used anywhere in the world. There is also the option to special order unique plug types.
In addition to the input power cords; there are also C13 to C14 jumper cables available in 2', 4', 6', 8' and 12' lengths. This variety of cable lengths allows for easy cable routing and reduces extra cable clutter. These jumper cables allow computers and network equipment to be powered at 208 volts, reducing current demand and increasing installation density.
There is also a new cable accessory strain relief retaining clamp. The device is for use with the IEC 60950 type C20 power inlet and it secures the C19 female connector to the power distribution unit. This strain relief uses a patented method to secure the connector using standard cable ties. This method replaces the older "metal clamp" method that has been the only option for years. The Pulizzi SUB-HRDWARE-032 is less expensive, faster to install and improves the security of the C19 inlet connector.
Pulizzi power cables are universally compatible with any power distribution units or products using the industry standard IEC 60950 type connectors. This allows easy interconnection between all your equipment.
