IBM, Northrop Grumman, Bell Helicopter, Mentor Graphics and leading industry analyst to speak at IESF 2009 Military and Aerospace conference in Dallas

Mentor Graphics Corporation (NASDAQ: MENT) today announced that leading industry analyst Richard Aboulafia and representatives from major aerospace companies will speak at the 2009 Integrated Electrical Solutions Forum (IESF) for Military and Aerospace. The event will take place on October 28, 2009 at the Embassy Suites in Grapevine, Texas. Registration is available at www.mentor.com/go/iesf.

IESF is a full, one-day, free event that has been very successful in past years and now regularly occurs throughout the USA, Europe, Japan and Korea. Now in its eighth year, IESF has become one of the leading forums for electrical and electronic systems design, modeling, simulation and analysis within the aerospace and military industry.

Mentor Graphics' worldwide technical director, Wes Ryder, will deliver a keynote presentation on "Reducing Development Program Risk," which discusses the value a model-driven development process can bring to military and aerospace programs. Leading industry analyst and vice president of the Teal Group Corporation, Richard Aboulafia, will deliver a guest keynote presentation called "Coping with the Downturn: Aviation Markets and Companies Enter Uncharted Territory." Also on the main agenda is Chuck Ratigan, Business Unit Executive, IBM, who will talk about military and aerospace trends in ECAD, MCAD and PLM.

The agenda comprises over 25 industry presentations including speakers from Northrop Grumman, Patmos Engineering Services, and Bell Helicopter. The program also includes a solutions exposition, software demonstrations and technical breakout tracks focused on electrical design and simulation, design data integration, DO-254 safety critical systems and virtual prototyping for military and aerospace applications.
