PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Collins Aerospace, Avionics Division
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation has selected Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics for its Beechcraft King Air C90GTi aircraft.
The King Air C90GTi flight deck, which mirrors the King Air B200GT and King Air 350, will feature a highly integrated Pro Line 21 avionics system that includes three 8- by 10-inch active matrix LCD displays and the Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS). Rockwell Collins IFIS enables access to essential information at a moments notice including electronic charts, graphical weather and enhanced map overlays.
"This agreement underscores our solid relationship with Hawker Beechcraft Corporation," said Denny Helgeson, vice president and general manager, business and regional systems for Rockwell Collins. "Pro Line 21 delivers proven performance, enhanced efficiency and situational awareness and flight deck commonality with the King Air B200GT and 350."
King Air C90GTi operators will be well-equipped to operate in Europe and in changing airspace around the world with the Rockwell Collins FMS-3000 flight management system, and Pro Line 21 Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) radios, which are incorporated on the new flight deck.
The FMS-3000 combines workload-reducing automation with true multisensor navigation capability to provide seamless takeoff-to-touchdown flight guidance including full-profile vertical navigation. Pro Line 21 CNS provides operators with highly reliable digital communication, navigation, and surveillance capabilities for operations in the future airspace.
