(FFAC) Freight Feeder Aircraft Corporation announced today that high-level briefings and negotiations are on-going with several international governments for the procurement of the FF5000 Military Variant Aircraft (FF5000MV).
Last week, several Generals and senior officials from the South African Air Force (SAAF) invited FFAC representatives to meet at its Headquarters in Pretoria, South Africa, for extensive briefings of the FF5000MV and its strategic capabilities. These SAAF officials who oversee air transport & maritime systems were briefed about the abilities of the FF5000MV including its Troop Transport, Medevac, Mobile Hospital, Maritime Surveillance, In-Flight Refueling, Equipment and Cargo Transport capabilities. For FF5000MV specifications - Click Here These meetings were spurred by the South African Air Force's recent decision to terminate a transaction to buy eight Airbus A400M military transport aircraft and to begin a search for a new solution to its military needs. Svendsen (Retired), Stated: "We are very encouraged with the progress that is being made with the South African Air Force and its interest in the procurement of the mission specific FF5000MV aircraft. We look forward to providing the SAAF with this innovative military variant aircraft that they will need to fulfill their defensive commitments."
FFAC and its Associates have also had preliminary discussions with the officials from the U.S. AFRICOM and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) about the acquisition possibilities of FF5000MV Aircraft. Several other international governments and humanitarian agencies have expressed interest in the FF5000MV since FFAC's inception in December of 2007.
