X-R-I Testing, a provider of nondestructive testing services to the aerospace and automotive industries has received accreditation by the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) for chemical processing at its Troy, MI facility. NADCAP accreditation is awarded only after a rigorous audit process conducted by the Performance Review Institute (PRI), an affiliate of SAE International. The audit assures the highest level of competence in performing the covered services and is a prerequisite for providing those services to the aerospace industry. X-R-I Testing is one of only two companies in Michigan with NADCAP accreditation for chemical processing.
"NADCAP accreditation is further evidence of our commitment to the highest standards in the services we provide and to our customers," said Eric Thams, General Manager of X-R-I Testing's Troy facility. Services provided by X-R-I Testing that are covered by this accreditation include: acid cleaning, alkaline cleaning, solvent cleaning, titanium cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, etching and passivation.
X-R-I Testing and its sister company, Test Equipment Distributors, have over 65 years of experience in providing a broad range of nondestructive testing equipment and services including liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic and digital radiography. With seven locations across the United States, X-R-I Testing serves the aerospace, automotive, power generation and food processing industries.
