Ampaire, a global leader in hybrid electric aircraft systems, celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art headquarters at Long Beach Airport with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 27, 2024. This event marked a significant milestone in Ampaire’s mission to revolutionize air travel with sustainable and innovative solutions.
The ceremony featured remarks from prominent leaders in aviation and government, including Kevin Noertker, CEO of Ampaire, Rex Richardson, Mayor of Long Beach, Evelyn Wang, Director of the Department of Energy's ARPA-E program, Raquel Girvin, FAA Deputy Administrator, Dean Donovan, Managing Director at investment firm DiamondStream Partners and Christina Angelides, Managing Director, Policy at Elemental Excelerator.
The new headquarters will support Ampaire’s growing team and expanded research and development initiatives. It will also serve as a base for collaboration with key partners and stakeholders in the aviation and clean energy sectors.
