Jetson, the pioneering aviation company and producer of the Jetson ONE, a first of its kind commercially available eVTOL, today announced overwhelming positive feedback on its first published freestyle video.
The Jetson ONE has been designed to be the most nimble and maneuverable manned flying vehicle taking the fun of flight to new levels. In its latest video, Jetson founder Tomasz Patan puts the ONE through its paces, from sharp twists and tight turns to more unconventional aerial maneuvers. Thanks to the ultra-lightweight construction, powerful electric propulsion and minimalistic design, a Jetson pilot has the absolute freedom of navigating the skies with unmatched precision and agility. The flight demonstration shows the company’s commitment to pioneering and advancing the flight experience focused on performance, ease of control and safety.
“We believe Jetson ONE plays a role in changing public opinion on eVTOL.” said Tomasz Patan. “We bridge the gap between sci-fi and reality and most importantly we do not show renderings, we have a working product.”
The footage shared has never been published before and is the result of the company expanding the flight envelope of the Jetson ONE, with more still to show.
Freestyle is when you decide not to connect A with B in a straight line, but along the trajectory you perform maneuvers like sharp turns, side slips and 360’s. Also demonstrated for the first time were backward flights with an eVTOL.
At Jetson one envisions Total Freedom, just as in your imagination. And all this is made easy and accessible. The maneuvers performed can be mastered in under 60 minutes of flight practice. Taking the controls of the Jetson ONE for the first time takes just 8 sessions in Jetson's realistic simulator to master this personal eVTOL.
The demand for the Jetson ONE has been phenomenal, supporting the company's dream to ‘make everyone a pilot’. The company has already sold over 462 units priced at $128,000, with a down payment of $8,000 to reserve the serial number.
Jetson is the most viral eVTOL on the Internet today, with more than 56,000,000 views on its YouTube channel and many more millions across the web and social media.
