Advanced Integration Technology/Nova-Tech Engineering (AIT/NTE) has been selected to support the final assembly line with fuselage sections handling and positioning, as well as aircraft transport and positioning, at Deutsche Aircraft.
With this new deal, AIT/NTE will support the final assembly line at Leipzig/Halle airport, where the 40-seater D328eco regional turboprop will be built. It is one of the largest providers of aerospace automation, mechanisation and tooling.
Experts in aerospace tooling and the aerostructures industry's most experienced designer, manufacturer and integrator of automated conveyance, positioning and joining systems, AIT/NTE says it is providing flexible and reliable equipment and tooling for the Leipzig facility.
Maximilian Fahr, Vice President Supply Chain at Deutsche Aircraft, remarks, “We are constructing the factory of the future, and our suppliers are critical to our success. Deutsche Aircraft is pleased to formalise a deal with AIT/Nova-Tech in Leipzig to set important groundwork for our final assembly line, which will incorporate integrated solutions into our production processes."
