Deutsche strengthens the chain as D328eco rollout approaches
Thursday, 20 February 2025
The first Deutsche Aircraft Supplier Summit gathered over 100 representatives from more than 60 suppliers, reinforcing the company’s supply chain strategy and production plans.

Deutsche Aircraft has hosted its first Supplier Summit at the Air Tech Campus in Oberpfaffenhofen, welcoming over 100 representatives from more than 60 suppliers. The event focused on supply chain stability, sustainability and innovation as the company prepares to bring its 40-seat D328eco turboprop aircraft to production.

With nearly all major suppliers now confirmed, Deutsche Aircraft co-CEO Nico Neumann says: “The strength and resilience of our supply chain affect our ability to deliver on promises and advance sustainable regional aviation.” COO Olaf Lawrenz adds: “Our suppliers are more than just partners—they are essential contributors to our mission of transforming regional air travel.”

The summit also explored how digital tools and data-driven processes can improve supply chain efficiency. VP supply chain Patricia Ferrari says: “We aim to implement digital tools and data-driven processes to create a more agile and transparent supply chain.”

Attendees had the chance to see the first D328eco test aircraft, which is preparing for rollout before the Paris Air Show in June. The event also recognised top suppliers with awards and encouraged discussions on improving production processes and sustainability.

As Deutsche Aircraft advances towards production, supplier collaboration remains a key priority. Director program D328eco Wolfgang Kuhl says: “We are not just building aircraft - we shape the future of aviation.”
