Liebherr-Aerospace has been selected by Bombardier Aerospace to supply the integrated air management system for Bombardier's newest members of the Global aircraft family, the Global 7000 and the Global 8000 jets. Liebherr's integrated air management system covers the bleed air system, airframe ice protection system, air conditioning system and cabin pressure control system. The system features lightweight, high reliability pneumatic and mechanical components together with integrated controls. This system will benefit from Liebherr's unmatched experience in integrated air management systems for business aviation. The system will be developed, qualified and manufactured in Toulouse by Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Liebherr's center of excellence for aerospace air management systems.
The Global 7000 and Global 8000 jets are ultra long-range aircraft that join the Bombardier Global aircraft family. Liebherr also supplies the integrated air management system for the other members of the Global aircraft family, the Global 5000 and the Global 6000 jets, as well as for several other of Bombardier's commercial and business aircraft. The award of the Global 7000 and Global 8000 aircraft integrated air management system is an additional milestone to the 20-year old relationship between Bombardier Aerospace and Liebherr.
