Power management company Eaton and Doosan Corporation Mottrol have signed an agreement to supply hydraulic pumps for South Korea's first domestically manufactured fighter aircraft, the KF-X. The agreement expands Eaton's presence in the Asia-Pacific aerospace market and reinforces its role as a leading development partner for many of the region's — and the world's — most advanced military and commercial aircraft programs.
"Eaton's broad portfolio of highly reliable components helps customers minimize development costs by leveraging proven products for new aircraft programs," said Nanda Kumar, president of Eaton's Aerospace Group. "Eaton is honored to continue our relationship with Doosan Corporation Mottrol on the KF-X program by working together to produce a hydraulic pump that delivers superior performance along with affordability."
In the aerospace industry, Eaton is a leading supplier of products and technologies for hydraulic systems, fuel and inerting systems, motion control and engine solutions.
