Cobham, the global market leader in military aircraft oxygen life support systems, announces it has received an oxygen concentrator follow-on order from Northrop Grumman Corporation for the Navy E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, an Airborne Command and Control Aircraft (ACC).
The $2.65M order is the second lot of a multi-year production contract for the delivery of oxygen concentrators for the platform.
"The award of this multi-year extension contract in support of the unique mission capabilities of the E-2D, exemplifies our commitment to the continued success of the platform and supports our strategy of providing world class expertise in aircrew life support systems to the warfighter across a diverse range of platforms," said Jason Apelquist, SVP Business Development & Strategy, Cobham Mission Systems.
With pilot safety as a core business, Cobham continues to invest in developing next generation technology to advance pilot protection by meeting individual physiological demands of oxygen. Cobham is the world leader in providing global military oxygen life support systems with installations on many mission critical aircraft.
