Valence Surface Technologies (VST) Everett, Washington (Formerly Blue Streak Finishers) recently received several new processing approvals to support the F-16 military aircraft program. VST is a committed partner to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for current production programs that include the F-16, F-35, C-130 and various Sikorsky Rotorcraft programs.
Obtaining these new approvals supports the Valence strategy to increase regional capability, provide redundant capacity and supply chain risk mitigation across our North America locations.
When asked about the significance of these approvals, VST Pacific Northwest General Manager Dan Hawkins commented, “The team is excited to expand our support of the defense industry, and this strengthens Valence's capabilities in the growing and dynamic aerostructures market.”
VST Everett, founded in 1981, is a leader in large part processing with the ability to deploy NDT, shot peen, chemical processing, and painting for parts up to 30 feet in length. Having earned NADCAP merit status, Valence Everett offers a full suite of services for most material types with major primes such as Boeing, Gulfstream, Cessna, United Technologies, and Lockheed Martin.
