PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: National Aerospace Fasteners Corporation (NAFCO)

National Aerospace Fasteners Corp. obtained the aerospace forging supplier approval from Safran Aircraft Engines
Tuesday, 24 August 2021

National Aerospace Fasteners Corp. announced it has obtained the certification as a qualified Aerospace forging supplier by Safran Aircraft Engines. NAFCO is qualified to engage in forging aviation products, with materials ranging from iron-based to nickel-based and cobalt-based high-temperature super alloys.

At present, there are only a few NADCAP approved suppliers for aerospace forging products in Asia. NAFCO has obtained the NADCAP MMM forging qualification in 2019Y which is the only aerospace forging supplier with NADCAP qualification in Taiwan.

NAFCO President Alvin Lin said “Since forging technology can provide a higher level of structural integrity, it is at the top of the aerospace product manufacturing chain, most of the key aerospace-grade machined products start from forgings. The upstream integration of forging into NAFCO current production process will provide NAFCO's aerospace customers with more efficient and competitive one-stop services, which is a very important milestone.“

Nafco is an international aerospace OEM, NADCAP, AS9100 aerospace quality system and IATF16949 automotive management system certification manufacturer. It provides various aerospace fasteners and machined parts, directly supplying products to aerospace OEM manufacturers such as GE Aviation, Safran group and Rolls Royce. In recent years, Nafco has continued to refine its process technology, developed high value-added precision manufacturing capabilities for aerospace machined products, and obtained forging supplier certification. Up to now, more than 6,000 items of aerospace products have passed customer certification.
