As an important participant in the world's aviation industry supply chain, AIDC has been selected as the Diamond Supplier by Bombardier in recognition of the Company’s outstanding operational performance for 2023. The award ceremony was held in Montreal, Canada on September 16 and was personally hosted by the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier Eric Martel. Director of the Civil Affairs Department of AIDC Charlie Chang led a team to receive the award.

Since 2018, Bombardier has been recognizing the outstanding performance of its suppliers through the Diamond Supplier program. AIDC’s achievements and excellence in production stood out among thousands of suppliers in 2023, and successfully obtained the recognition from Bombardier evaluation team. This marks AIDC’s fourth Diamond Supplier award after winning the award for three consecutive years from 2019 to 2021.

AIDC has been involved in the R&D and manufacturing of the CL3500 rear fuselage section and has cooperated with Bombardier for more than 20 years. CL3500 is Bombardier's best-selling aircraft. The products that make AIDC a Diamond Suppliers this time include main structural components of CL3500 such as the rear fuselage, vertical and horizontal stabilizer, elevator, and rudder.

This is not the only recognition that AIDC has received from international partners. This year, another important customer, a major engine manufacturer from the UK, has also awarded AIDC "High-Performance Team Certificate" and "Best Progress Award of the Year," a testament to AIDC’s service quality and high-quality products. Multiple awards from customers are beneficial to AIDC’s future business and further cooperation with its customers.
