Snecma renewed its partnership with Manoir Industries. Manoir Aerospace BU is very proud to announce that thanks to its expertise and its service level a real mutual collaboration has been achieved with the Customer. This agreement between Snecma and Manoir Industries translates into a 5 year long term contract from 2012 to 2016. This contract covers the engine components supply forged by BL and BR plants and machined by Parthenay.
These parts enter into civil and military aircraft engines: CFM56-7 for Boeing 737, GE 90 for Boeing 777, GP7200 for A380 and M88 for the Rafale fighter. Snecma, world's leading manufacturers of aircraft and rocket engines, design, develop, produce and market, alone or in partnership, engines for commercial and military aircraft, launch vehicles and satellites. Snecma also offer a complete range of engine services to airlines, armed forces and other operators.
2011 was a major buoyant year for CFM. 1300 engines have been provided and the CFM56 forecast should reach 1600 in 2014.
